Recharging an Air Conditioner

mike30065

We received a service call for a central air conditioner that was not cooling like it should. Upon arrival we checked the evaporator coil and filter inside, cleaned the condenser coil outside, then started the unit and determined it was low on refrigerant.

Using pressure gauges, temperature probes, and a scale we were able to add the correct amount of R-22 to bring the system back to optimal cooling performance.

R-22 is no longer allowed to be manufactured in the US and many other countries but we do have a stockpile of it to help customers with older equipment that is otherwise in good working order. If your air conditioner is not cooling like it used to please call or text 716-466-1000 for a service appointment.
